New WWE DVD and Blu-ray listings for 2015 have just gone up on the UK Amazon – among them are the Owen Hart and Undertaker titles we’ve been reporting on since May!
Listed here and now confirmed is the “Owen Hart: Hart of Gold” DVD.
This one has not been without controversy as shortly after we first announced it, Martha Hart, widow of Owen, publicly stated that she in no way supports the project. However, all indications are that it is still going ahead. The UK release date looks to be set as December 7th.
Another we announced is also listed – “Undertaker: The Streak – 21-1 (RIP Edition)”, slated to be an expanded version of the original 2012 set with the missing matches and possibly an extended documentary. Amazon suggests that this one will be a 5 disc DVD set releasing in November.
More WWE DVDs/Blu-rays have also been added by the retail site including “Sting: Into The Light” and “Christmas Collection”. Fans in the UK can check them all out here on Amazon.co.uk.
All of these titles should be available to pre-order there in the coming days, and of course pre-order opportunities for fans in the United States and elsewhere shouldn’t be too far away.

I wonder if the will incorporate the Wrestlemania Rewind episodes of Undertaker into the documentary. Undertaker talks out of character about WM 25 and WM 28.
I’m so happy WWE’s doing a Owen Hart set. I will definitely be buying this long awaited set that hopefully does Owen Hart and his legacy justice.
Taker’s Streak set….I’ll buy it. But I’m 50/50 on the set being made just like I was for the first Streak set because they released the first one and are releasing the second when he’s probably less than 5-10 years from ending his in ring career. On the other hand, The Streak is big enough to get its own set. I wonder if the set will include his match with Wyatt. I guess not because of the name of the set, but it could always be added as an extra since it took place after The Streak was over. I hope there’s an extended doc. I was surprised the original was so short for a 20 win streak.
Until WWE stops scrubbing out Hulk Hogan, they get no money from me. Thank you Vince for making me $9.99 richer monthly.
Hopefully, Undertaker’s Wrestlemania matches from the Attitude era will be unblurred now.
I suspect that will be the case. Of course there’s always the chance WWE will just transfer everything from the first set into the new one meaning the blurs will remain. But they can always put the matches on the set from the WWE Network where there’s no blurs and I think even the original music (Rollin for WM17-19) is intact, not that I care for that one as IMO Rollin was too soft and did not fit a hard hitting ass kicking badass like Taker.
What match is that Owen Hart vs Undertaker pic from?
I’m not sure. But I think it’s a 3 on 3 Flag match where Dude Love, Austin, and Taker took on Bret Hart, Owen Hart and Bulldog. I don’t remember any other time Taker and Owen facing each other while they were in those respective ring attires.
5 discs! that means the documentary gets its own disc again…with 2 extra matches, that will bring the doc up to max 1 hour! still, completely waste of disc space..
would have got this one on bluray once it would hit the low price..but, now that it will likely only be released on DVD..naaaah, I don’t think so..
I stick with DVD’s.
I’m surprised no one mentioned when will they start releasing Blu-ray only and not on regular DVD anymore. I hope Owen’s set includes his tag match with Bret against Money INC from the 1/26/93 Challenge taping and his match against Sabu from the 10/19/93 Challenge taping.
The Wrestlemania X and Summerslam 1994 match against Bret will be on it I believe. The Wrestlemania X match up it’s the best open match of any Wrestlemania in my opinion!
agreed on the best opening bout for a WM, the Hart brothers classic..
and it is up there along with Rockers vs Orient Express from RR ’91 and the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE strap from NWO ’09, as top 3 best openers of all time.
I am hoping they will add the match when Owen won the title from Bret and got to hold it for a few minutes, that was a cool moment
Is there any word on there being a 2015 Annual set in the UK this year, containing Best of Raw SD 2014 and Best PPV Matches 2014? Or has it been discontinued. I always get that combined set.
Yes, it’s one of the other titles that Amazon added during its updates. It’s scheduled for release on November 2, and has the usual six discs.
The Annual set is scheduled for release in early November
I am very excited for Owen’s Blu-Ray release! He is my favorite wrestler ever!
I wish some of Owen matches from NJPW will be included.
Me too, Owen’s matches from Japan was awesome!
Will this Owen Hart set & The Undertaker set be available on Blu-Ray too?
“Hart of Gold” will be released on Blu-Ray, Streak however will only be released on DVD
Well that’s good but it’s a shame that Undertaker’s will only b a DVD 🙁
Quite surprised that it’s not being released on Blu Ray, but it does seem to be following a recent UK trend of increasingly more titles only being available on DVD.
I really hope that they don’t do away with Blu Rays for the less prominent PPVs, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if that decision was made in the next year or so.
