We recently reported that Blu-ray editions of Capitol Punishment and Money in the Bank 2011 were removed from our WWE Home Video schedule (USA). That is still the case, and they are now listed as “unavailable” on Amazon. SummerSlam 2011 on Blu-ray remains, so it looks like those two BDs are officially cancelled.
Chris Smith sent word that not only did the WCW Nitro DVD have a standard DVD case (rather than fold-out cardboard) in the UK, but The True Story of WrestleMania did too. Here are some pics.
There is an auction for the “Special Collector’s Edition” Trish Stratus: 100% Stratusfaction DVD on right now, which is ending tomorrow (Sunday). The extended version was an FYE exclusive in the USA and is often regarded as the rarest retail WWE DVD out there.

Sucks about the blu-ray cancellations but I guess you can’t blame WWE if the sales/demand aren’t high enough. Maybe if more stores would carry them they’d sell more (but then again you could always order from wweshop or amazon and etc.) Still I’m a little bummed for sure. I know some will say it’s not a big deal but to me and probably some others, there is a noticeable difference with HD quality BD vs Standard quality DVD. And since the price difference is usually only 5 bucks or less in stores, I’d rather get the blu version.
Must have been some computer error to have the auction go that high. Even the $140 before the two kept battling it out. RIDICULOUS!!

Anyway I’m sure you will find it again, and less than what you almost paid at $300! A month or two ago I got it at $110 for instance.
I can’t believe I lost that auction because of a distraction from a co-worker. Luckily I still have a small chance at it, and it wouldn’t be the first time I got an item despite losing the auction.
Oh well, I did win the Raw Diva Search promo DVD for only 23 bucks and change. At least that was more my style, getting rare DVDs on the cheap.
But I gotta do something to get over this loss, maybe go snipe someone else for something I dont give a crap about. I mean the winner is in china. WTF do they care about rare wrestling DVDs?
Most likely why Silvervision are doing sale on their blu-rays; to get rid of them.
So glad I bought the Special Edition Trish DVD back when it first came out. Now I know if I ever wanna sell it, I’d get a nice chunk ofchange for it. Not that I’m selling it any time soon.

No, the ecw one has jerry linn, tazz and rey mysterio on the cover and is packed with three free tv shows, in my opinion they are rare

hey i have two of these, and the ulitmate warrior set aswell. i bought them of my friend on ebay called wrestlingzone about a year ago, as they were rare back then too….i knew one day they would be worth somthing. i think its time to put them up on ebay….but just before i do that and put the link here if im allowed to…who wud be interested and how much u guys willing to pay??? if i get what SRB got…i’ll be very happy

Damn! the Trish DVD hit $235…that’s insane, never expected to reach that high.
It’s fun to watch the closing moments of the auction, at $255 now. A couple of months ago one on ebay went for just short of $200 you know.
ITs currently going for $235!! 30 minutes to go…. luckily I brought mine a few years ago for $30 🙂

hey daniel bee i have a dvd that is ecw: extreme wrestling collection , it is 3 discs and it has 3 ecw tv shows, and the other is the edge/cena dvd but it has their ppv matches not the tv matches, i live in the canary islands, are they consider rare?

Amazon is selling the regular edition for $6. This is the Special Collector’s Edition US version, RARE.
I live in the UK and picked up the trish collectors edition for $17 on amazon. A week ago. I’ll post a picture of it soon

I saw the FYE Exclusive Trish DVD at my local moviestop for $5, but I didn’t feel like getting a DVD that I’m never gonna watch so I just left it on the shelf.
