Does anyone know the shipping charges to the UK for the WWEShop DVD Sale?? I’m thinking about making some purchases but holding off just in case its not worth the hassle..
Multi-Region DVD players are cheap these days & WWEDVDUK seems to butcher all releases without the correct packaging or cases for ANY new releases so that’s my reason for posting here

  2. Mark Markson says:

Still haven’t got the network. Or any streaming service for that matter. I’m fine with DVDs and blu-rays. Sure, I could probably find lot’s of stuff on the network I haven’t seen, but I also watch other stuff than wrestling. Series, movies, TV. Plus I like to read and do some gaming from time to time. So lack of time is a factor.

  3. Cory says:

No Attitude Era 2 on blu ray?? WTF…Shield blu ray not on sale?? Bull sh** sale

    • Daniel Bee says:

      Ok…

Attitude I think sold out in the last sale this month, Shield’s new this week so would be a long shot.

Blame them, not our comment’s section. 🙂

      • Cory Walker says:

I was blaming them…their sales are great sometimes but when you add in shipping and tax it often ends up being same price as Amazon (I have prime).

  4. zac says:

Hi, there is also a fast line prediction comp for UK folk, on the WWE UK Site. and they have slashed there prices on some elimination chamber, I can forward you the email if you wish.

  5. rockphantom says:

2 years ago I would have been all over this sale. However, with the advent of the WWE Network, I have very little interest in collecting, or even watching WWE Home Video releases. Last year, I purchased the following titles and watched very little of their content: Sting 2BD (watched 1st hour), Macho Man doc (watched 1st BD), Attitude Era volume 2 BD (still sealed), Great American Bash 2BD (watched once), Ultimate Warrior Collection (watched 5 times), several Wrestlemania promo 2 for $10 DVD packs from Best Buy and Wal-Mart (still sealed). To me, the content (complete TV/PPV cards/documentaries) on the Network is far more interesting than the home video compilations that feature content from multiple events. The Network has drastically cut into WWE Home Video’s market share. I look forward to the day when all WWE Home Video content is available on the Network.

    • attitude.era.4life says:

…and one has to pay over and over, again and again, forever and ever, in all eternity, to keep watching the content of the Network…while, paying for a dvd/Bluray, once, and you can watch it for same amount of eternity. Just to put it in perspective.. 😉

    • Daniel Bee says:

The Network argument is valid and not going away – but it’s still a fact that the big new releases that come out month to month on Home Video are NOT on the Network.

To this someone will say Heyman and yes Heyman’s one was added, but it took 6 months. Don’t know about you but for the big documentary ones that come out, I don’t want to wait months to see it and still having some DVD collecting alongside the Network (because the content on them is exclusive to DVD) is still pretty fun for me.

      • attitude.era.4life says:

also.. would’nt like to miss the great – in particulare bluray – exclusives that are on releases like Heyman’s and especially the 2 hours on Foley’s For all Mankind bluray.

      • rockphantom says:

I’m not disparaging WWE Home Video. I’ve been collecting WWF/E home video releases since Coliseum Video released WM IV on a 2 VHS set (featuring the Hogan pop-up insert). I have purchased countless WWE Home Video releases over the years and have really enjoyed taking part in the great sales that WDN promotes. However, the staggering amount of previously unavailable content on the Network keeps me coming back for more. I do still plan to buy WWE Blu-Ray sets as the years go on (Warrior doc is on my must have list). Although, my purchases won’t be as frequent due to the Network. BTW, I am currently watching Halloween Havoc ’90 in pristine quality on the Network, while my WWE Home Video collection collects dust. The times are changing…

        • attitude.era.4life says:

I agree with you, that the Network has opend up for content that previously was impossible or very hard to get to everybody around the globe, so that is indeed a very good thing.

For me personally, I own every dvd/bluray that Silvervision produced, plus releases up to 2014, that I liked…which was not that many the recent years.

The WCW and ECW full lenght ppv’s did’nt do anything for me when I had a free tryout month on the Network, and all the Behind the scenes docs and other reality-tv garbage, I am definitely not in to.

And frankly, I don’t find the quality of the old ppv’s that much better, than upscaling the dvd’s on my bluray player.

what I hope for in the future, is that there is still room for high quality produced bluray releases, like the ones we’re getting the last 5 years, e.g. Warriors sets, Heyman, Foley, O.M.G.’s and the inevitable upcomming Undertaker profile.

          • LP1 says:

People always like to use this argument when condemning the Network: “Well, what if you want to watch something on the Network, but your internet goes down or there’s a power outage? At least with a DVD/BR you can watch it whenever you want.” I answer that by saying if you are without power in your home and all you can think about is wanting to watch wrestling then you have your priorities completely out of whack. You have more important issues at hand.

On the flip side, what if you’re going to be away from home for a while and have time to kill? Whether on a business trip, a vacation, a long car ride or a million other reasons, and you feel like watching wrestling, but your whole collection is at home. That’s where the Network has the advantage. I’ve had many instances where I’ve been in a long car/bus ride where I’ve watched a ton of old shows on the Network. It’s a convenience that a lot of people overlook.

The whole “Network vs Disc” argument is old. Pick whatever works for you and enjoy it.

            • Mark D says:

I don’t see why folks need to pick, can’t the Network and DVD both live in harmony doing their own thing. That way as fans, we all win with even more content.

              • attitude.era.4life says:

“… we are the Wrestling World.. we are the Wrestling Fans.. we are the Ones, that wants to watch it all the time, no matter hoooow… There’s so many ways, that we can share our passion.. it does’nt matter if your into discs, Networking or both, old or new, just watch with looove..”

(adjust the “We are the World” melody yourself to the text, if needed.. but, the message should be clear..) 😉

              • LP1 says:

Exactly. That’s pretty much what I meant. I didn’t just mean pick either/or.
