WWE: The Best of RAW and Smackdown 2011 DVD (4-Discs) has been released in Australia, which marks the first release in the world since the US street date is next week and UK’s in March.
As is the trend with the Australian WWE DVD releases as of late the packaging is a standard DVD case, rather than the cardboard fold-out packaging with full artwork elements. It is a clear plastic case and the underside of the sleeve has the content listing. You can take a look at it in this video.
Speaking of Australia, Joseph sent word of two interesting WWE DVD offers. First, at Big W stores there is a double-pack DVD set available, including Survivor Series 2011 and Survivor Series 2010 for $15.92. The other recent deal was on the JB-HIFI website. When pre-ordering Royal Rumble 2012 on DVD or Blu-ray, the first batches of orders receive a free autographed Zack Ryder 8×10 photo to go with it.
Ryan sent word that the UK exclusive WWE Hell in a Cell 2011 Blu-ray also plays on Region A (USA) BD players, and in fact the usual letter B symbol denoting region is not present on packaging. This joins both Summerslam and Night of Champions which have also been tested region free.
Silver Vision now have Royal Rumble 2012 available to pre-order on both DVD and Blu-ray over here, which they will release in April. This one WILL also make it to Blu-ray in the US.
Of the out-of-print WWE DVDs we linked to recently, the three that sold for the highest amounts were Judgment Day 2002 at $79, WrestleMania X-Seven at $67 and Vengeance 2002 at $55.
