Get the tables, WWE is making a DVD on those damn Dudleys!
The Dudley Boyz are back and WrestlingDVDNetwork.com has learned exclusively that penciled into 2016’s Home Video schedule is what would be the first ever Dudley Boyz WWE DVD/Blu-ray.
This one could go either way – a documentary or a match compilation, however it’s safe to say that whatever the format, the Dudleys themselves will be involved now they are back in fold.
All going to plan, this will be the first Superstar-themed WWE DVD released next year.
We know that the company has been considering the Dudley Boyz compilation since at least April of this year when it showed up on a WWE DVD Survey issued to “Fan Council” members.
Dudley Boyz Biography
Arguably the most successful tag team in the history of sports entertainment. Hear from Bubba Ray and D-Von as they discuss theirs trials and tribulations from the bottom to the top and what made they did that helped them become so successful.

Here are first look artwork shots for the new “Beast In The East” DVD!
As mentioned, this one will be released early next month exclusively to fans in UK/Europe and Australia. The DVD will include “dark” match extras not shown on the WWE Network stream.
Fans in the UK can pre-order “Beast in the East” now for just £11.50, here on Amazon.co.uk.
Below, take a look at how the content of the “Owen – Hart of Gold” DVD/Blu-ray will be laid out on its inside artwork, or get a closer look on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
WWE’s new Owen set will be released worldwide this December and will pack in a documentary, more than 20 bonus stories, more than 20 matches, and special tribute videos.
Happy with the content listing for Owen? Will it be the best #WWE DVD of 2015? – http://t.co/R3BHrKJWYj pic.twitter.com/bwci6WYCmg

RARE STUFF: Up for grabs in eBay auctions today are 2 rare WWF DVDs that often demand big bucks to get hold of – WrestleMania 17 and Survivor Series 2001.
The current bid prices on today’s auction listings are well worth a look and also noteworthy is that Survivor Series comes with its original poster still intact. Happy bidding!
$10.00 – WWF Survivor Series 2001 DVD
$18.50 – WWF WrestleMania 17 DVD
Long legged Stacey Keibler in Dudleyz outfit = # aaaaaaah
Not against a Dudleyz doc at all. I’d love to hear their story. I think WWE would be wise to release a compilation set to see how well it sells and if it’s good enough, then do a doc once their careers are over. At this point, as good as they still are in the ring, this is probably the last chapter, the last run of their respective career, at least as a tag team anyway. The only thin left for them as a tag team, aside from maybe one more nice title run, is an obvious HOF induction. IMO, Philly’s the place for that whenever WM/HOF weekend hits Philly. If anything, Bubba’s Rumble reaction at Philly proved that.
I am on the fence on buying the Dudley Boys Blu-Ray, Dudley Boys are not that great
It’s not a blu-ray exclusive John.
I know that, I am saying that I always buy blu-rays if given the option between DVD and blu-ray, that is why I said blu-ray
Absolutely not fair at all for the Beast in the East DVD to be available everywehere but in the US. That’s stupid and greedy by WWE to do that.
How is not selling something greedy?
What a hilarious comment…so selling something only in the UK is greedy by WWE?! LOL…now I have heard everything. Honestly, who cares if Beast in the East is exclusive to UK…it was a glorified house show. If you want it so bad import it from Amazon UK. There are so many region free DVD players for less than $50 you can get from Walmart and online. Its not even a big deal anymore…if a certain DVD/Blu-ray is not coming out in the US, find other means of obtaining it instead of pissing and moaning about WWE only caring about Europe and Japan and all these other excuses.
I live in Canada and when UK got the Tagged Classics, what I did was purchase a region free Blu-ray/DVD player and imported the tagged classics and UK exclusive Blu-rays. It really opens up your options.
Hang on, so the Tributes aren’t on the DVD version?
They are clearly in the “Blu-ray exclusives” part of the content listing (not trying to be harsh, but it’s true):

Joel Gertner had tweeted out earlier today he had been at WWE Headquarters to do some interviews for the Dudley DVD set and an ECW’s Craziest Moments set too.
“OMG Vol. 3: ECW’s craziest moments” : Yesssss, please! 😉
ITS ABOUT FREEKEN TIME!! how in there 20 pluss history have they NOT had a dvd. only ones i can think of is the ecw ones that were just matches released after ecw closed
I’m not sure yet to think about this one: on one hand I should be pleased with a release on one of the all time greatest tag teams of wrestling.
On the other hand, I am afraid that the restriction-era we’re stuck in as of lately, would prevent certain over the top spots and promos, which are very MA certified, that was part of what made the Dudleyz so special.
I wait to see the content and format of this one, before I burst out in joy, but it is of course good to see that Dudley Ville is back on the wrestling map. 😉
I think a Dudley Boyz set has potential to be a great release, especially with a documentary as we really don’t know much about them prior to entering the wrestling business. The only Dudley Boyz DVD that ever came out was by ECW back in 2001 by Pioneer which was more of clips and match compilation, but still was a pretty good release as everything was unedited.
I think you’re right on the promos and spots being more TV-MA and those promos like literally causing a full on riot at Heatwave 99 was what made them so special in ECW and their best work was in ECW. However I did enjoy when they came to WWE in 99 until about 2000-2001, but then I thought they really started to get stale in 2002 until their release in 2005.
2 things I really do NOT need on this release:
Their feud with Evolution, and above all: The GAB ’04 match against The Deadman.
Remember when The Dudley Boyz came out to Powerman 5000? Good times.
Cool beans! I’m a sucker for ECW stuff, so hopefully any set will stretch back to that time. Wonder if this is why Taz was at WWE HQ the other day?
