FYI: Prime Time Wrestling is now on the WWE Network. Lots of GREAT vintage WWF wrestling going up in the last week.
Bobby the Brain Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon truly innovated and set the standard for presenting exciting and hilarious funny segments that were entertaining, about and around wrestling..
only ones come even close to them were J.R. and Lawler from dawning of the Attitude Era and up to around 2009..
of course, as with the excitement of the wrestling…or lack of the same..so will the commentary segments mirror
Agreed. My wife had never heard of Prime Time Wrestling. It was a blast using the Network to show her, in less than 10 minutes, the evolution from then, Old School TV, TNT, SNME, WM 1, PTW, all the way up to RAW and Nitro. Very cool.
I loved Monsoon. I cried the day he died as he was my favorite wrestling personality and the only one my grandfather, the greatest man I ever knew, truly loved to watch. Monsoon and Heenan, you are right, revolutionized pro wrestling forever. There was everything before those two together, and then everything after. I felt like a kid again. The Network truly made me feel like a fan again last night. What a blast.
