— Jim Ross talked more about WWE’s new Stone Cold DVD in his latest blog, and here’s what he had to say:
“I know that Steve is, for the first time, totally hands on this project from start to finish. I know that a WWE crew has been in Texas w/ Stone Cold at the BSR Ranch since Monday. I was interviewed for over 3 hours by a WWE TV producer for the project and answered well over 100 questions and follow ups. I know that several, TOP stars have also been interviewed. I have extremely high expectations for this DVD and expect it to be a great holiday gift item.”
— DDP revealed on Twitter this week that Very Best of WCW Nitro is now the second highest selling WWE DVD in the past 2 years. Future WCW themed DVDs look to be a given.

@anonymous I noticed that too about cp but I has np enjoyed the event
i just got off the phone with best buy customer service regarding the capitol punishment blu ray that was backordered.. the rep told me that it is scheduled to ship out on monday august 1st! so im just as confused as everyone!
I just received the Capitol Punishment 2011 DVD and is it me or is there really something wrong with the picture quality, as it isn’t always smooth?
wwe greatest superstars of the 21st century is a good dvd,but could have had rvd and cm punk.but all and all cool dvd.
@scott
Then you are delusional. It’s a little hard for them to ship you something THAT DOES NOT, AND WILL NOT EVER, EXIST. How hard is this to understand?
My orders have not been cancelled by Best Buy, they sent me an email saying Capitol Punishment was backordered, but nothing about a cancelation. They have sent nothing about Money in the Bank.
When I check my order status for both on the site, they both say in process. Until they force a cancelation on me, I’m assuming my order will be shipped as was paid for.
Greatest stars 2000 was a huge letdown.
They will refund ppl that ordered the BD I just wanna see more wcw DVDs a thunder set would be great and maybe they can do some best of ppv sets they have already done the best of starrcade so why not??
Well that sucks that those BDs are officially dead and buried, got to work on getting my money back now.
A Best of Thunder set would be cool but how about a Best of Fall Brawl/War Games, anyone remember when the NWO beat the Horseman and Curt Henning slammed the cage door on Flair’s head, Tony Schavonie didn’t like that at all lol. What’s the latest on the Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart dvd coming in October?
I’d suggest that WWE put out a “Best of WCW Thunder” set, but that would be implying that something good ever happened on Thunder.
I’d love a “Best of WCW Pay-Per-Views” or a “Best of the Clash of the Champions” set, though.
Wow good news for the wcw nitro DVD hopefully they will give us more footage in the future
I’d say after Orton entered at #7 in the 2009 Rumble there was about an Hour of footage so I’m surprised It’s an extra on the Blu Ray. If Austin’s DVD Lives up to the hype It’s getting then It should be a classic.
