WWE Studios “No Holds Barred” DVD Cover Revealed Feat. Hulk Hogan

March 31, 2012 by Daniel Bee

The planned cover artwork for the WWE Studios DVD release of Hulk Hogan’s 1989 film No Holds Barred has been revealed in the WrestleMania 28 event program.

Thanks to @ShaunBlackford (in Miami attending WrestleMania) for passing along the news!

As you can see from the ad the official release date is July 3rd of this year to the United States. There is no mention of a Blu-ray version so we can assume this will strictly be produced on DVD format. No word on international releases.

We’ll be sure to let you know when it’s available to pre-order, or if this one is a Walmart exclusive on release as is usually the case with movie titles from WWE Studios.

Fancy getting your hands on the WWE DVD that’s often considered the rarest out there?

There’s an eBay auction up for the FYE exclusive Collectors Edition Trish Stratus DVD. Right now it’s bid up to just $20 with 4 days left!

It had been reported WWE decided to pull Randy Orton from The Marine 3 movie.

TMZ has a story up about the U.S. Marines being happy that Orton was pulled from the role due to his military background. In 1999, Orton went AWOL when he was serving in the United State Marines which led to a bad conduct charge.

    Cpl. Mike Vinn told TMZ:

“On behalf of all the Marines from Aco 1/4 98-02, that were outraged to hear about Randy Orton portraying a Marine in the next movie “Marine: Homefront”, I’d like to thank the WWE for pulling Orton from the role when they heard about his disloyal service to the United States Marine Corps. It shows respect for not only the unit I had served in, but for every person that has ever defended this nation. Thank you WWE.”

  2. Isrs4life says:

Speaking of Hulk Hogan he is accually finally being featured as a
Hall of Famer on WWE Classics on Demand this month 🙂

  3. RabidHeat says:

Do you never think maybe bidders on eBay don’t want you posting links to the auctions as it hikes the price up? Lol.

    • Daniel Bee says:

I get that, but overall I think posting the links helps people find them who may not have otherwise. We get more positive than negative feedback.

      • SRB says:

I owe most of my sale to DB since he posted the link to my auction up here when I was selling the Trish DVD. One minute I looked and the DVD went from 67 people looking at it to 189. After it sold for over $300 I felt the “push” was for sure from this site and that’s why I will always respect it’s writers and it’s people. DB didn’t have to do that for me but he did it as a favor to me and to those willing to pay what the DVD was worth. I still owe you a stunner DB haha

  4. Tom says:

But, does it include the match?

  5. SRB says:

GREAT cover there. Since WWE is releasing it I’d love some extras on there, a few matches/segments with him and Zeus too would really round this DVD out in my book

  6. Harry Faversham says:

I’ve been watching a lot of Hulk Hogan lately after I saw him at the TNA show at Wembley Arena. Gotta love the Hulkster. Been a hulkamaniac since 1990, but I think I liked Hollywood best. This release is long overdue. Brothhherrrrrrr!

  7. Daniel Bee says:

    Hogan re-tweeted this. 🙂

  8. Harry Faversham says:

    Looks great!

  9. Vincenzzzzzo says:

Cover for No Holds Barred looks good. Disappointed about no bluray mention though.
