It looks like the WWE are indeed releasing this year’s SummerSlam event on Blu Ray. Retail websites that stock Canadian DVDs & Blu Rays such as Amazon.ca & Playusa.com are now listing WWE SummerSlam 2010 for a Blu Ray release in September.
No listings yet for the US version but this is likely because of the exclusivity deal in place where any WWE Blu Ray released in the USA is to be sold only at Best Buy stores for a number of months, until other retailers are then allowed to stock them.
Speaking of this event, in addition to the standard DVD releases, both the US and Canadian Amazon retail sites list a SummerSlam 2010/SummerSlam 2009 DVD double pack to be released at the same time.
