WrestlingDVDNetwork.com has received the official cover artwork (front and back) for WWE’s Survivor Series 2021 DVD! We’ve also learned of a Blu-ray exclusive that’s set to be included in the content of the UK’s Blu-ray edition.
The poster artwork featuring WWE Champion Big E, that you may have seen prior to the event, will be on show as the front cover of this year’s Survivor Series DVD. On the spine artwork, expect to see Big E and Roman Reigns, along with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, representing their matches. The back cover will feature a few shots of the in-ring action from the evening.
The 3-hour and 12-minute single-disc DVD is now up for pre-order here on Amazon.com. That will include the event without extras. Fans in the UK and Germany will be treated to both a standard DVD and a Blu-ray edition — the Blu-ray will include the event and the match from the Kickoff Show as an exclusive special feature.

The A&E “Biography: WWE Legends” documentaries on Austin, Piper, Hart, Savage, Michaels, Warrior, Booker T and Foley released to fans in the US back in September, split over two DVD sets.
Those same documentaries have now been released on DVD to Australia but for this market all of the specials are featured together in a 4-disc DVD set. Here’s a couple of shots of the box artwork, for those curious.
In the US, this month has seen the release of THREE new WWE DVDs:
Extreme Rules 2021
Best of 1996: Prelude to Attitude
…and now Crown Jewel 2021!
There’s a few talking points with this one as the release marks the first Crown Jewel PPV event to make it to the DVD in the US. Also noteworthy, it’s a 2-disc set that features around 1 hour of extras, including the Kickoff Show match and several moments from Supersized SmackDown last month.
The free Topps trading cards continue with Kofi Kingston featuring on this one.
Let’s check out some photos – thanks once again to WDN reader TheDVDFreak for sharing!

Are you kidding me. As soon as I purchase this DVD. I will swap-out the DVD case for a fuller one. I hate these cases that think their saving on plastic. Yet, charge more. Did they forget the DVD itself is made out of plastic?
But the DVD disc would always be made out of plastic, so there would still be even more plastic if it was in a fuller case. So they are saving on plastic somewhat. Especially when you consider the amount of copies they produce.
Great front cover of BIg E. As far as the pre-show match, don’t need that. Was no good anyway. The event itself was great. So this event will end the year of pay per view d.v.d releases since there will be no ”T.L.C” event.
Hope this A&E documentary collection will be released in the UK !
3 hours and 12 minutes on 1 disc? The PPV itself ran 3 hours and 30 minutes exactly. Where are they cutting out 18 minutes from? And no pre-show match for the US. Unreal.
To be fair if you cut out all the ads for draft kings and the like it’d only be a 3 hour show.
I just went and added it up. If you remove all of the product placement commercials, including those 2 random and unnecessary McIntyre and Lashley hype videos, it comes out to 12:37 of time they can remove. There’s still another near 6 minutes of content that’s going to be cut. Unless they also remove all of The Rock’s 25th anniversary flashback videos too, but that would be weird. I’m guessing they’re also going to have to re-edit the opening PPV intro as well because it had a ton of clips from the Red Notice movie.
I keep hearing about these McIntyre and Lashley video packages, and I have ZERO recollection of them. I wonder if they aired while I was seeing commercials (as I don’t have the ad-free version of Peacock)?? That’s the only explanation I can think of for why I don’t remember them at all…
The McIntyre video aired in between the Becky/Charlotte match and the men’s Survivor Series match. The Lashley video aired in between the women’s Survivor Series match and the Big E/Reigns match.
Survivor series 2021 dvd just only 1 disc??? What make it worst is that there will not be any extras on it??? Come on, it pure lazy release and completely unacceptable.
From the lack of effort around the artwork to no special features, the Survivor Series release just feels lazy all round.
I’m hoping Lionsgate will eventually give the US the Legends DVDs in one set. I’ve held off on getting it because of the packaging errors of Vol. 1 having Vol. 2 discs. I’m not even sure if the problem has been resolved yet, and I’m hesitant to even try buying them.
On a side note, I know it’s a minor detail, but I like how the complete bundle is purple, since red and blue mixed makes purple.
It has been fixed at least in Indiana. If you turn to the back of Vol 1, there is a yellow sticker with bar code on it. That seems to be a fixed version.
I ordered both from Amazon last week and everything was fine. They still have both as part of the Buy 3 get 1 Free sale so if can find a similar price DVD/BluRay that is part be of the sale – you can save about $4.00 on each DVD.
Amazon is pricematching Target on this deal. Both WWE Biography DVDs are $12.99 each at both places. Target has more WWE DVD/BluRays included in this deal so if you are looking for a WWE DVD as your third item – you may have better luck there.
The deal should read Buy 2 DVD/BluRay(s) – Get an additional 1 DVD/BluRay free. (Unless all three are priced the same – you will get lower price DVD/BluRay free.)
