  1. TNAJason says:

I am at a crossroads on my opinion on Orton vs HHH being included. The Build and Storyline for both the 2004(while not as good as 2005’s Batista-HHH) and 2009 being pretty(2009 being VERY) good(I loved the Orton/Legacy vs McMahon Family Deal) but the matches were all lackluster. Only match I enjoyed of theirs was the one from No Mercy 2007,where they weren’t feuding at the time,Triple H just replaced the Injured Cena,so while the Storyline Feud was Good-Awesome at times, their matches just never really clicked. I’m sure there is probably gonna be alot more deserving Rivalries that missed the cut due to Orton vs HHH being included. Oh well.

  2. Thomas Goodearl says:

I wish WWE wouldn’t include Abdulah The Butcher due to the fact he is currently under investigation for deliberately cutting opponents & knowingly wrestling dangerously with Hepitius C! I think they should avoid using him till he is cleared properly.

    • Anonymous says:

Who cares? That doesn’t change the fact he is a legend who deserves recognition.

      • Thomas Goodearl says:

Well he used a razor blade he already used on himself on someone else! Legend or not that is inexcusable, it’s just as bad as sharing a needle, especially with transferable deseases like aids, HIV & Hep C. He is dangerous and careless.

  3. Orton va. Triple H? Dear oh dear.

  4. Steven Jackson says:

This set isn’t making me want to purchase it at all. I’m pleased Angle vs. Lesnar is being re-released on a compilation as that, in my opinion is their greatest match. Yet, it should have been on the new Brock DVD which came out last year and the rest of the matches are somewhat passable to me. I think this set will be a huge disappointment considering the potential and title of “Top 25 Rivalries”.

    • Mongoose Wizard says:

I personally wish Angle would come back to WWE would love to have Blu Ray set on him! It would be amazing!

  5. indyfan says:

YES!!!! Repeats galore!!!!!!! I think WWE releases way to many sets. They have cornered themselves and i hope this blows up in their faces. This set looks terrible.

    • WWESuperFan#1 says:

You guys know this isn’t a match compilation of just the Top Rivalries, right?
Its one of WWE’s countdown DVDs which will have video segments discussing each rivalry, just like OMG.
I personally can’t wait to hear the stories behind these bitter rivalries.
It’s not always about the matches.

      • indyfan says:

Well to me its about matches. And these countdown sets suck. OMG was terrible. Also im sure the back stories will be tame and it won’t be anything shocking as everything is already exposed. You’d get more in depth stories from shoot interviews.

  6. Bill says:

Bruiser Brody vs. Abdullah the Butcher, SSuperstar Billy Graham is gonna be pissed

  7. Mark Markson says:

Hopefully WWE will not completely ignore some great feuds from the indy scene.

    Danielson vs. McGuinness
    CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe

    Should be included.

  8. Tv-14 says:

Some of my favorite Rivalries are Hbk/Jericho, hhh/rock, lita/trish, Austin/rock ,Edge/taker cena/edge Kane/taker and Hbk/taker I hope this release will be worth it.

  9. Mark Markson says:

The Brody/Butcher match might be fun. The other matches revealed for this set, I own on DVD already.

  10. Roaster says:

    Rock vs Cena!! Lol

  11. KarlKayfabian says:

    Strike two.

  12. Nick says:

HHH vs Randy Boreton. Are you fuckin kidding me?

Fans should really choose these lists as we know more about wrestling than people actually in them.

  13. fer says:

its a shame we aint getting Benoit/Angle which should be in there

  14. Eric Bischoff says:

Undertaker/Kane is a blah choice. Long running rivalry but no real memorable moments.

I wonder if some of the revealed rivalries that don’t have a match will get one on the blu-ray exclusives.

    • sheezy says:

No real memorable moments? The first moment of the rivalry ( kanes debut ) is one of the most memorable moments in WWE history, for one.

  15. Eric Bischoff says:

It’s inevitable that this release will be one of those that doesn’t have a lot of unreleased content. WWE has to put out there better matches every 3-5 years to sell to the mainstream that is probably the majority for these things. Those of you that have every release ever and are banging your head against a wall in frustration are in the minority.

    • Anonymous says:

I’d venture to guess that we may not be quite the minority that you think. I’m guessing that a very significant percentage of the WWE’s DVD buying public will buy every non-PPV release. So while a good selling compilation release may sell 100,000 units during its first quarter of release, I wouldn’t be shocked to learn that 60,000 of those buyers buy every other compilation release. My guess is that 60,000 figure is their base line for compilation releases. Of course, if they continue with the repeats, that 60,000 guaranteed/base line will eventually begin to drop dramatically.

    • Nate says:

You’re probably right……but it doesn’t mean that collectors such as myself will lay down the $$$$ for sets containing numerous repeats either….at least not all of us.

  16. maxx_powerz says:

I’m loving the match selection so far. No duplicates, and I have a dozen different DVD sets. I think a lot of you are being unrealistic. I mean really, how many legit great matches are there out there between main eventers that hasn’t been out on DVD yet? If they put this DVD together with rare stuff, it would probably be a bunch of 5 minute TV matches.

    • Anonymous says:

There is PLENTY of unreleased material to DVD material (and I’m not talking about 5 minute matches either) to make this set something special instead of the rehashed/repackaged, extremely unremarkable/bordering on boring set. Instead, they’ve chosen to slap it together quickly featuring a bunch of previously released and so far uninspiring content. It’s a shame.

  17. NoNoYesYes!! says:

Hi, Daniel is their match for Kane vs Undertaker Rivalry on the dvd/blu ray, other rivalries that you have announced so far has a match besides The Hardy Boyz vs Dudley Boyz and kane vs undertaker, im glad that match from backlash 2009 is guna be released in hd on blu ray cause that match deserved to be on the best ppv matches 2009-10 blu-ray, great match and intense,a match that was actually done well with the 6 man tag stipulation, much better than the 6 man tag match for the wwf championship from king of the ring 2000!!

    • Daniel Bee says:

Hi 🙂 No Taker/Kane match on the set.

      • Domenic says:

There will be a match between Undertaker and Kane. My hopes is the No Holds Barred match from Night of Champions 2010. Who cares though, I love this rivalry so any match between these two will be fantastic!!

  18. Anonymous says:

Well if these first two reveals are any indication, this looks to be the single most disappointing release in the DVD era.

  19. rod munch says:

this sucks not even a clearance deal

  20. X-23 says:

I am glad to see Triple H vs. Randy Orton on here, although I would have chosen both their great matches from No Mercy 2007 to represent their rivalry. (HHH wins the title, then Orton takes it back)

Also, the Lesnar vs. Angle trilogy is finally collected between this and Brock’s latest DVD!

    • Jesus Lopez says:

With only room for 25 rivalries, HHH vs. Orton should NOT be here. The only feud worse than this one was Honky Tonk Man vs. anybody. On the other hand, a feud I hope DOES make it on this release is Killer Khan vs. Outback Jack. Let keep our fingers crossed, WWE Universe!

  21. Marco says:

    DVD sucks so far.

  22. Hollywood says:

Randy Orton vs Triple H? What a joke that this is in the top 25. Their match was one of the worst WM Main Events ever. I don’t think this feud many $1

    • insanetombstone96 says:

Just because they had one bad match doesn’t mean their rivalry was bad.

    • Eric says:

They had a lot of matches. The feud started when HHH turned on Orton after he won the WHC. That was 2004. That feud took place over 5 years.

      • Hollywood says:

I remember Triple H burying Orton after he beat Benoit for the title. The feud sucked then and every other time since then. Doesn’t deserve a spot in the top 25

    • X-23 says:

HHH/Orton absolutely deserves a spot! The buildup to WM 25 was awesome and intense, although yeah the match was as great as it could’ve been. (they should have had a Hell in a Cell match)

    • sheezy says:

The hhh orton wm.match isn’t on this set, so that’s irrelevant.

  23. Tommy D says:

Is that Brody/Butcher match the same one as from the WCCW DVD? I’m just hope that you are revealing all of the matches that were released first before revealing the really good ones. That’s what you are doing, right? Right!
