  1. Harry Faversham says:

This looks like a poor effort so far. My guesstimation is that the blu ray will have the rivalries legends roundtable included, which might make it worth getting. JR, Michael Hayes, Mean Gene, Bret Hart and Pat Patterson on that one. Without that or some better choices for rivalries and matches, it looks pretty weak for now.

  2. james wilson says:

i hope we get a Rvd vs jerry lynn feud, and we could get the match from Hardcore Heaven 99 or another rare hardcore tv match…

  3. Marty says:

Question, WWEDVDNews guys: Do all the rivalries have at least a match representing them? (i.e. even though there’s no Flair-Steamboat match listed in this article, is there one that’s being kept secret for the time being?)

    • Daniel Bee says:

Hi. No, not all rivalries have a match allocated to them. If the rivalry does have a match to go with it then we’ve listed it in the reveals.

      • Anonymous says:

In other words, the match destined to be the best one on the entire set (any of the Flair/Steamboat matches) isn’t being included. Bizarre!

  4. Supersonic says:

Gimme Flair vs. Steamboat from May 1994 on Saturday Night!

    • Anonymous says:

The WCW Saturday Night match is about 50 minutes. So, to save space and time, give us the following that won’t run more than about 65 minutes:
-Flair/Steamboat in their last televised match ever from WCW Main Event summer 1994
-Flair/Savage from June 1992 that appeared exclusively on a UK released Coliseum video
-Flair/Funk in their last televised match ever from SuperBrawl 2000
-Flair/Sting from Monday Nitro April 1999 or July 1999

When you think of feuds that had classic matches, promos and stories, all four of these have to rank at or near the top. If all or most of these don’t make it on the list, it’s only because they’re trying hard not to repeat talents too often.

  5. the man says:

I wonder if Hogan/Piper will mention their WCW feud also? I wonder if Hogan/Sting won’t be on this because both guys are in TNA?

  6. the man says:

Any predictions on the final ones? Maybe a divas rivalry? WCW? Maybe another promotion we haven’t seen(Mid-South, AWA, etc)?

  7. Mongoose Wizard says:

Damnit not The War to Settle the Score again! I mean I’m not one to argue over repeats, but damn not this match again…

    • Kirbbdogg says:

I’d like to see Hogan and Piper’s cage match from WCW back in 97. It was the best of there run in WCW I thought. And it’s interesting to see Piper in a cage wrestling

  8. mason says:

just pre-ordered my copy of the limited edition mick foley dvd with mr socko on amazon for 22 bucks

  9. pmdmf says:

We have a match with the Von Erichs vs. The Freebirds WITHOUT Michael Hayes?! Something’s wrong with this picture!

  10. wrestlingfan says:

Now we are talking, however can’t wwe find a different Piper vs Hogan match that is not on a previous dvd set

  11. the man says:

This is all good stuff and all but where is WCW? Saving the best for last hopefully.

BTW there is still a Hart/Michaels match from 1994 that is unreleased. It is from the Coliseum Video called “Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart”.

  12. Jamie says:

Man you fuckers are NEVER HAPPY SPOILED DESERATE Fucks seriously over dvds, the product, etc

  13. Drew says:

    That’s a bit more interesting.

  14. Mark says:

It is a very disappointing list so far

I am seriously thinking of canceling if the disappointment does not get better

  15. Paul says:

So after these last two reveals, you guys are telling me there aren’t any matches for perhaps the two greatest feuds ever? Michaels/Hart and Flair/Steamboat?

  16. Scsa says:

Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat & Hulk Hogan vs. Piper, yeah but Von Erich’s vs. The Fabulous Freebirds looks to b boring 🙁
