There really are no good options for the match list. We have everything on dvd already. Like if you look at the names, its like shawn, taker, hhh, flair, hogan, austin and they asll have multiple dvds already. All we can hope for is a good countdown with some cool package videos. If they do that well, then i call it a thumbs up.

I disagree. There are plenty of great unseen matches from most, if not all, of these rivalries. They simply didn’t do a very thorough job on this and perhaps are testing the market to see how well a complete repeat set sells. My guess is that they’ll find it sells about 70% of their usual numbers. Of course, this will be only the first 100% repeat set, so future repeat sets are bound to sell considerably less.

  2. NoNameHere says:

Despite the matches, the list is STACKED so far. Hoping for HHH/HBK with their 3 Stages of All Match from Armageddon 02 or Last Man Standing from Royal Rumble 04

  3. Matt says:

I’m still holding out hope for midnight express vs rock ‘n roll express

  4. WWEFAN2013 says:

Hope we get more moments because matches are shit so far.

  5. Marty says:

There’s four left. My guess for the final four are Hart-Austin, Flair-Sting, HBK-HHH and WWE-WCW.

  6. Alan Shore says:

To me the most obvious omission so far is one of my all time favourite rivalries: Bret Hart vs ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

    • Harry Faversham says:

Without that one I can’t take the list seriously. But I think its true that the matches are most important. Its not even that they are repeats that bothers me, I wouldn’t mind that if they were good choices and made sense and an overall great collection. This looks like just another mish mash random collection. Its almost like they put their wwe jukebox on shuffle and said “Yeah, fine”.

  7. Johnny G says:

    Wow, Just an awful collection.

    Shame on you WWE

  8. sheezy says:

Macho man vs ddp should def make the list as well as something involving sting/wcw against hogan/ nWo.

  9. sheezy says:

The lack.of wcw is dissapointing bus not surprising given their tendency.to shit on wcw. I hope the number one feud will be wcw vs wwf ( Monday night war, not invasion).

  10. Anonymous says:

One thing that really seems to be becoming apparent with each day of these reveals is just how important the actual match listings are. There have been some complaints about the rivalries. There have been A LOT MORE COMPLAINTS about the actual match listings and more specifically the amount of repeats. NOTE TO WWE: We don’t want repeats!!! Make better use of your catalog.

  11. Joshua York says:

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker is one of my favorite rivalries.

  12. the man says:

So what is the most obvious rivalry that we haven’t seen? Still no late 90’s WCW which is surprising. No divas feud. Nothing from the territories outside of World Class.

  13. Simon says:

They should have only continue with 1 on 1 Greatest rivalries like the Shawn vs Bret one, instead of a top 25 rivalries, to me it suck ’cause you lost a real better portrait of the rivalries instead of a 5min brief history, maybe the match would have been repeat but atleast they would have been on the same set.. Probably gonna give a pass on that…

  14. sheezy says:

I’m usually not one to complain about repeats but come on, this is ridiculous. It’s like they are going out of their way to pick repeats.

  15. King Shabazz says:

Government says you gotta call this release what it really is: “WWE Top 25 MOST MILKED Matches You Already Own in History” DVD.

  16. the man says:

Wow these are horrible choices. That ladder match was on Ladder Match 2 which just came out in 2011. WWE isn’t even trying here.

  17. Jason H says:

I love the ladder match between Austin and the McMahons. It’ll be great to finally get that one uncensored on DVD!

  18. Mark says:

    More disappointing matches!

Hopefully the last few will include

    Owen vs Bret
Randy Savage vs Jake the Snake Roberts

  19. Steve says:

Oh boy more repeats & a lame Smackdown! Promo!

  20. Anonymous says:

That Shawn-Taker thing is a pretty weak inclusion.

  21. Shaun Blackford says:

anyone want to guess the last few ????

    • Hollywood says:

I’m holding out hope that Savage vs Jake the Snake is included and their match from SNME in Feb 92 finally makes it on DVD

  22. Anonymous says:

The feuds work for me. The matches don’t. I’m sorry to say but this is shaping up to be a terrible release. Who cares about their lists anyway? They think they’ll create some kind of controversy or buzz, but they won’t. The only real controversy in this case is the terrible match selection. Seriously, for the feuds above, how about including:

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Mr McMahon they could have used an angle/promo
Dusty Rhodes vs. Ric Flair lots to pick from including Crockett Cup 1986
Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage lots to pick from WWF or WCW
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker they could have picked the HBK/HHH vs. Taker/Foley from 8/18/97 that was only on a Shopzone exclusive or use an angle/promo

    • ck says:

Hopefully, it will contain a Flair-Rhodes match as a Blu-Ray exclusive.

      • Mark D says:

All the matches/moments are being released along with its Rivalry, including the Blu-ray extras. So after tomorrow you will know all the rivalries and all of the extras (DVD & Blu-ray).
