i don’t think it’ll get the Starrcade treatment bc this is WM! I’m hoping the documentary is 2 1/2 to 3 hours long! it should be!

  2. richie says:

Cover looks like Vince from 25 years ago. Boy does times change and people change.

  3. richie says:

They will give it the Starrcade treatment. 60-70 min doc and a bunch of matches. Simple right?

  4. Paul says:

I think so too. Probably a short 60-90 min. documentary and a match/moment from every WrestleMania.

If that preview for the set on WM III was the WHOLE chapter for WM III then it’s obviously going to be a pretty short documentary because that chapter was only like 4 or 5 minutes. That is really short considering WrestleMania III is perhaps the most important ‘Mania ever! Still looking forward to it although I hope Im wrong too and it’s a really long documentary with little or no matches for extras.

Matches on this set are pointless since every ‘Mania is easy to own on DVD and a lot of the great matches have been on many other profile DVDs. The only possible positive with matches being on this set is the slightly improved quality on Blu-ray with the older matches being upscaled to 1080i and the possibility of WM X8-23’s film transfers to HD on Blu-ray (which I for one would love to see a lot of that film footage!). Im hoping for a lot of extras of never-before-seen backstage footage and stories from WrestleMania’s past.

  6. tim burrow says:

i wish there was a way i could order the nwo/diesel/razor dvds here in america

  7. Asamoah Gyan says:

Is there any news on when the Wrestlemania DVD is released in the UK?

  8. Scott says:

WWE could easily release Tagged Classics in the US if they stopped being so stubborn and got a 3rd party distributor for them here. Like they could find some new distributor/publisher, tell them to set up a division, and call it Coliseum Video 2.0 or something.

Then since this new distributor isn’t actually owned by WWE, they can release the old stuff uncensored. But as long as WWE Home Video insists on publishing their own stuff in the US we’re gonna get the shaft on it.

I’ve been buying a ton of Tagged Classics from amazon.co.uk regardless. I guess technically Amazon breaks the law by shipping them to me, but I don’t care as long as I get them lol.

That wrestlemania DVD looks like it’s going to be really good. I’m pumped for that release. And I’m pissed that we don’t get those tagged classics over here in the states. I would love to add back in black to my collection.

  12. Daniel Bee says:

Blu-ray is high definition therefore you need a HDTV to do it justice.

  13. william says:

another questin i was thinking about getting the true story of mania on blue ray but does it do anygood if you dont have an hd tv thanks

  14. Daniel Bee says:

Cover art should come pretty soon, as should the listing after that. As soon as we know more you’ll be sure to see it on this site. You’re right, looks like WWE are pushing this one hard.

  15. Jeffrey Evans says:

Any idea when the cover art and listing will be revealed. I think its great that the trailer is out before the cover art and listing, that never usually happen lol

  16. Daniel Bee says:

wwefan: 3 Disc DVD, 2 Disc Blu-ray. Some more info here: http://www.wwedvdnews.com/mwwe-wrestleania-story-dvd-bluray/7771/

Tagged Classics are possible because of a legal case Silvervision won in the UK and the ruling to be able to re-release the WWF stuff applies to them only.

  17. william says:

can you tell me why US cant get these tagged classics here thanks.

  18. wwefan10993 says:

This DVD is gonna be amazing. How is the format going to be? Is it 3 disc? 2 Disc? 1 Disc? Is there just a documentary. Will there be WrestleMania matches on it? I can’t wait. Will definitely be picking this one up.

  19. Jim says:

I am jealous of the tagged classic release. I wish the US could get these releases.

  20. John31 says:
