April 12, 2012 by Daniel Bee

WWE Undertaker: The Streak is now available to pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray formats at Amazon (go there). The listings confirm what we previously revealed, that there will be 4 Disc DVD and 3 Disc Blu-ray versions.

Amazon has also been updated with the new Zack Ryder and John Cena DVDs, making up the new budget WWE Superstar Collection series. They’re up for pre-order now, priced at $10.49 each and released in July. Click here to pre-order either.

New synopses for both titles have been revealed there.

In February 2011, “Z! True Long Island Story” debuted on YouTube. Little did future “Broski’s” all over the world know, the real story was just beginning. Refusing to be ignored, the sunglass-clad, spike haired Superstar used the power of the internet and social media to catapult himself from relative no-name to online sensation. Fans began chanting “Woo Woo Woo” and other Superstars including John Cena began to echo their support for the man known as “Long Island Iced Z”. Today, Zack competes with the upper-echelon of WWE every week and shows no signs of slowing his momentum. This compilation is the first ever DVD to focus on Zack Ryder, and it collects six of the greatest matches tracing his meteoric rise to fame, most of which have never been released on DVD!

Since ascending to the pinnacle of WWE superstardom, John Cena has stared down an endless gauntlet of doubters, haters, as well as the fiercest challengers WWE has to offer, and risen above them all. His determination and resilience have earned him legions of fans, and nothing brings the members of Cenation to their feet more than seeing their hero rise to the occasion inside the squared circle. With this special compilation, relive some of the greatest battles featuring the most popular WWE Superstar of this generation, including matches never-before released on DVD!

As with most wwe dvds, this is being released too early. It’s all good until wrestlemania 29 comes around next year & takers record goes to 21-0, thus, rendering this set automatically incomplete. Wait until he officially retires for something like this would be smarter because as with most fans, I like my DVD sets to be complete & too tell the whole story. Just sayin.

I understand where you’re coming from because I like when wrestler BIO DVD sets like Austins have their Hall of Fame induction included on it. It makes it complete.

  2. Billy says:

I think the Superstar Collection DVDs are a great idea. They will be like the John Morrison Rockstar DVD and they will give rising stars their own cheap single disc sets. I would love to see them make DVDs for Kofi, Miz, Ziggler, D Bryan, Sheamus, and Rhodes. I’d probably collect them all!

  3. captain planet says:

“Most fans” aren’t collectors who buy every WWE DVD, “most fans” do not have all the Wrestlemanias. This combines all the streak matches into one package, with a doc about the streak. It’s marketable, it makes sense, and it’ll make them a lot of money. Collectors have a bad habit of assuming other people have their unusual thirst for [product] when they do not.

  4. Jericholic1138 says:

A Ryder DVD….Are You Serious Bro? Why doesn’t WWE put out a real NWO set? A Booker T or DDP career spanning set would be awesome. No we get a set of Wrestlemanis matches of the Undertaker that most fans will already have.

  5. nxtishorrible says:

  6. nightmare says:

  7. tick317 says:

  8. scsa says:

Im happy 2 hear about The Undertaker’s Streak BD, but come on… where’s the Triple H Doc? The Next Greatest Rivlaries DVD/BD, A Shawn Michaels BD n finally THE NEXT OMG DVD/BD – THIS TIME WITH D-X DRESSING AND MOCKING THE NATION AND THE CORPORATION!!! Otherwise at least announce an Original START-FINISH D-X BLU-RAY W/FEATURES!!!

    • Vincenzzzzzo says:

I know, I mean, like, we all know the Undertakers DVD will be the LAST WWE DVD ever made, right? Damn….

  9. The Duke says:

Come on give us the Jake Roberts Funeral Parlor where he slams the lid of the casket on Undertaker’s hand.

  10. tnawwejosh says:

Hmm 3 disc Blu Ray with 12 hours of space and all the Undertaker matches come up to about 7 hours? Lots of room for some awesome extras! 🙂

    • Anonymous says:

its actually over 8 hours of matches if you count all the entrances and celebrations, which they said they wouldn’t edit out.

      • tnawwejosh says:

@Anon Still 3-4 hours of possible promo’s/build up! Hope it does because I wouldn’t need this owning pretty much all of his WM matches.
