I will not be buying WWE Vengeance 2011 dvd from Silver Vision at all because the event was absolutely rubbish
@WWESuperFan#1, even before WWE started filming in HD(January 2008) their ppv releases were lacking in extras. These types of “1 bonus interview” extras have been on DVD’s going as far back as 2004/2005. Some even further than that.
@stacey go back and read every post on here when extras are released for a PPV DVD and you’ll find your answer. You won’t get those extras anymore because of they way WWE has to format the HD shot PPV on DVD. They can only put 3 hours worth of content on a DVD and Vengeance was just under 3 hours, therefore they could only fit the Alberto interview on there. Back in the day when things were shot in Standard Def they could fit more cause SD footage takes up less space on a DVD, but since it’s shot in HD and has to be compressed for DVD, the HD footage takes up more space and won’t allow WWE to put more then 3 hours on a DVD.
So if you really want all those extras? Get a region free Blu-Ray player and get the international Blu-Ray release, otherwise we’ll all just have to live with it, it ain’t changing
as usual another weak dvd extras. what happened to the days where we would get pre match interviews post match interviews dark match(sunday night heat) and also the main match promos
I’m glad the Cara vs Cara match took place in Mexico and not at Vengeance. It just made more sense that way, so it’s cool to see it included in the Vengeance BR.
AWESOME to see the mask vs. mask match from SmackDown and the CM Punk vs. The Miz from Raw released on Blu ray. And yeah today is not the 14th Anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob lol.
I was thinking about the D-Generation X: In Your House ppv that was on December 7th 1997, don’t forget on November 9th it will be the 14th Anniversary of the Screwjob one of Shawn Michaels best match lol.
Damn my bad, I was thinking about a different ppv but I knew it was either the 7th or 8th or 9th.
@Steven, actually today’s November 7th. Survivor Series ’97 was on November 9th.
Does everyone know what Anniversary is today it’s the 14th Anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob lol.
Good to see the Sin Cara match get released. I thought they might have save Punk vs. Miz for a big ppv. Actually that match wasn’t too good.
