WWE WrestleMania 28 Blu-ray Exclusives Revealed, DVD Extras Update

April 20, 2012 by Daniel Bee

According to the Australian WWE DVD distributor the following are the planned extras for the WrestleMania 28 Blu-ray…

Monday Night Raw 2.20.12:
The Undertaker seeks vengeance on Triple H (19:42)

Monday Night Raw 2.27.12:
The Rock comes back to Portland (24:22)

Monday Night Raw 3.5.12:
John Cena returns Home (4:31)

Monday Night Raw 3.26.12:
John Cena & The Rock have their Final Confrontation (16:04).

That looks to be just over an hour of Blu-ray exclusive content. According to the distributor’s website, the Blu-ray will also include the same content as the 3-Disc DVD version.

Confirmed DVD extras so far are the Hall of Fame ceremony, and the pre-show WWE Tag Team Championships Triple Threat match. More extra content is expected.

Australia will also get a 2-Disc DVD which includes only the WrestleMania event, with no added extras. That version will not be released this year to the United States.

Woah! Elimination Chamber 2012 DVD for only $11.50 over here!

  2. Adam says:

I hope the once in a lifetime special is on it.It was awesome

  3. Stacey John says:

@LP1 They did have Goldbergs debut in WWE as an extra on the Wrestlemania XIX DVD but I don’t think WWE would put Brock Lesnars return on this years Wrestlemania though

    • LP1 says:

That is true, but Mania XIX is also the ppv where they showed the “Goldberg is coming” video. So there was a connection there at least.

  4. LP1 says:

I don’t understand why anyone would expect Brocks return to be a part of this DVD release when it would be more fitting to include it on the Extreme Rules DVD. That’s where the Cena-Brock match is happening after all.

  5. Brad Attitude says:

Can’t believe Brock Lesnar’s return to RAW is not on there.

    I won’t be purchasing this!

    • Paul says:

Brock Lesnar’s return has nothing to do with Wrestlemania. Why should it be included?

      • Brad Attitude says:

they had goldberg’s wwe debut as an extra on the wrestlemania xix dvd so why not add brock lesnar on this one? besides, the extras for wrestlemania kinda suck anyways.

        no rock concert 3? zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  6. Supersonic says:

Once in a Lifetime isn’t necessary, as it did absolutely nothing to make you wanna see the two titans collide.

  7. Vincenzzzzzo says:

I also hope/hoped the Once in a Lifetime special would be included as an extra on the blu-ray. That should be a no-brainer as an extra.

The promos with Rock / Cena (and LESNARS return) I will look forward to seeing on the Best of RAW/SmackDown 2012 DVD next year.

  8. Dave says:

Hoping the Once In a lifetime special will be an extra.

  9. LP1 says:

I think all of the Rock-Cena promos leading up to Mania, including the Rock Concert and Cena rapping, will be on the Best Of Raw 2012 blu-ray.

  10. 1972 says:

I hope it includes matches from the Hall of Famers like it did 2 years ago.

  11. Supersonic says:

I DEMAND the Rock’s Boston history lessons on the Best of 2012 in January. Ditto for the Punk/Jericho verbal confrontation and Sheamus vs. Jericho.

  12. Anonymous says:

They should have put the rock’s history leasons he did in boston

  13. I agree, they should put Once in a Lifetime on as an extra.

  14. Anonymous says:

They should put Rock-Cena once in a lifetime on as an extra

    • Anonymous says:

I was just gonna say the same thing. That should definetly be on there. Also, Brock Lesnar’s return…

I wish WWE would give us real never before seen EXCLUSIVE extras like they used to. Like pre and post match interviews, behind the scenes stuff, the Rock’s celebration after the ppv ended.

  15. SRB says:

Glad to see WWE is going back to filling up these 2 disc Blu-Rays, we get a 4 hour Wrestlemania, an hour of extra exclusive content, the entire HOF (2 hours), and the dark matches. I’d like WM on disc 1 with everything else on disc 2. That would be the way to do it in my book.

    • Anonymous says:

Thats how they have done it with every WrestleMania blu-ray (24 – 27). Entire event on one disc.

      • SRB says:

Wasn’t sure how it worked, still yet to purchase a blu-ray, WM28 will be my 1st

        • Harry Faversham says:

I’ve only bought a couple of wwe blu rays. The Shawn vs. Bret and the Austin one are well worth getting for the extra stuff in my opinion. I wouldn’t be content with the DVD knowing I could have the extra matches.
