Welcome to our WrestleMania 30 “Mega Post”, ahead of the DVD and Blu-ray release this Tuesday!
First up, thanks to the WDN readers who sent word that Best Buy is advertising that on the release week they will have the WrestleMania 30 DVD on sale for just $17.99, and the Blu-ray edition of WrestleMania 30 on sale for just $19.99.
The now fully confirmed extras on the DVD/Blu-ray are: the Hall of Fame 2014 induction ceremony, the pre-show fatal four-way tag match, and various segments from the WrestleMania related shows which aired on WWE Network before the event.
Earlier this week we showed some WrestleMania 30 DVD photos on the site. Below, with thanks to David Kearns, here’s a first look now in video form.

The “WrestleMania XXX: 30 Moments for 30 Years” mini-book looks to be almost everywhere!
WDN reader “SilentRage74” found the 3-disc DVD (pictured below) on sale early at a K-Mart store. It appears to include the mini-book as standard.
As mentioned, FYE is advertising an exclusive version with that mini-book and dog tags.
Amazon.com has an exclusive version listed with the mini-book and a trading card.
– 1.: WrestleMania XXX (Standard 3 Disc DVD)
– 2.: WrestleMania XXX (Standard 2 Disc Blu-ray)
– 3.: WrestleMania XXX (Special Edition w/Mini-Book & Card, DVD)
– 4.: WrestleMania XXX (Special Edition w/Mini-Book & Card, Blu-ray)
The mini-book can be found in the Blu-ray edition too. It has an over-sized, cardboard outer slipcover, as shown in the photos below. One side of the cover holds the mini-book.
The not-so-exclusive “30 Moments for 30 Years” mini-book is also getting a release in the UK and Australia. Courtesy of WWEDVD.com.au, here’s a look at the book and a peek inside.
In Australia there are three editions of WrestleMania 30. One of them is a 2-disc DVD which features only the PPV event. One of them (the limited edition) comes with the bonus book.
In the UK and Europe there are two editions of WrestleMania 30 – the DVD and the Blu-ray. Both versions come with the bonus book at WWEDVD.co.uk while stocks last.
– USA: Click here to get your copy of WrestleMania 30 for May 13th.
– Australia: Order the DVD/Blu-ray now from WWEDVD.com.au for May 13th.
– UK/Europe: Order the DVD/Blu-ray now from WWEDVD.co.uk for June 9th.
Is the dog tags that are in the F.Y.E. additions in the dvd & blu-rays or just dvds?
They had/have it both with DVD and Blu-ray.
Picked it up today at my KMart They had 4 or 5 copies and all of them had the book. Happy I got it there and not from amazon
*They only had the DVD not the Blu-Ray
Just for reference…
Maybe it was out in K-Mart by accident. Then again I know Mark D bought a standard Blu-ray edition of WM30 online and it turned up with the mini-book included in the packaging. I guess we’ll find out soon!
Guys, just trying to make sure here…will the Kmart version have the mini book or not? Some have stated they found it early but without the book and some have found it with the book included. I also noticed they’re going to have it on sale for $17.99 this Tuesday on DVD and $19.99 on Blu-Ray like Best Buy but ONLY IF you’re a Shop Your Rewards cardholder for Kmart.
Looks like there’s a standard version without the book too (seen 2 pics of it), but possible to find the one with the book too! Confusing, eh?
Seems as if they’re taking a page from the Time-Life/Starvista playbook when it comes to releases of shows or series and such. Guessing it depends now on which Kmarts will be carrying it on Tuesday, the version with the book, that is.
I found the dvd at Kmart yesterday. It had about 5 behind the glass on a shelf. It also had 2 blu-rays there, as well. No mini-book included on any of them. Kmart does, however, sell a bunch of coloring books as well as some nice socks.
Just wondering now if Best Buy’s version is going to carry the mini book as well? At least there will be a sticker on the side to pinpoint that, so planning to go to BOTH Kmart and Best Buy just to make sure it is there, since both stores have the item on sale starting tomorrow.
I just picked up my copy of WMXXX at Kmart today (3 days before official release). No mini book included. And I also picked up some string cheese (3 days before its official expiration). No mini book included, either.
Hopefully all standard editions of the WMXXX DVD come with that mini-book, because I’m planning to buy it Tuesday from Wal-Mart.
Freemantle is slowly beginning to near Silvervision level, with that great contest they had leading up to Extreme Rules..plus..the sound and pict IS actually better on Bluray than most past Silvervision releases.
But, the prices..oh, madonna.. 🙁
well.. not getting this one anyway..
Love the bulky packaging, really makes it feel special. No doubt Fremantle will dumb down the UK version so it’s the same as all other PPVs.
XX’s moment is the return of The Deadman?! well.. if not to mention the obvious moment that “never happend”: Benoit and Eddie in the ring together as world champions, then it should at least been Cena’s first title win!
Not the hugest fan of him, but that was the inagural champion victory of the companys up coming babyface star.. even if it “only” was the US championship.
I’m quite happy they picked that moment over Cena’s US title win…again! I’m sorry, but Cena/Show (for the US title, of all belts) was not even approaching a main event on that show, it was mid-card, yet WWE have been using that as the big moment on ‘Mania XX on a lot of things lately, due to not being able to mention Benoit.
I believe they should think out of the box in future and mention Eddie retaining the WWE title against Angle with the ingenious method of un-lacing his boot as one of the stand-out ‘Mania XX moments. It was creative, and a great match/one of the two title main events. 🙂
Why is everyone presuming that each WrestleMania only gets one moment in the book? Some WM’s have multipul moments while others have none.
