Will they be released in australia

Kofi, Sheamus, Ziggler, Rhodes, Santino, Daniel Bryan, and Sin Cara are all good choices for the collection. I dont know why they would make one for Cena because he already has 3 other DVD’s (2 of whcih are 3 disc sets) and I feel like these types of DVD’s should be just single disc releases highlighting rising WWE superstars (kind of like the John Morrison Rockstar DVD)

  3. Anonymous says:

they should do one on sheamus and wade barrett and daniel bryan

  4. Jordan says:

The current Amazon listing mentions it will have 6 matches (most of which have not been on DVD before), and that the retailer is $14.99 – their current price is $10.49. http://www.amazon.com/Wwe-Superstar-Collection-Zack-Ryder/dp/B007RMQ4AE/ref=sr_1_3?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1334200791&sr=1-3

    I needs my Ziggler DVD.

  6. You gotta love the potential of this set. I think this is a great idea. Cheap buy and they will look great on the shelves together.

A professional wrestling news reporting site will always link to the original article. If a website is copy and pasting your articles, they are probably a small site trying to make it big. Most websites I’ve seen that are posting your exclusive details on DVDs do the same with other websites.

  8. X-23 says:

I hope the Cena DVD has matches not shown in John Cena: My Life or The John Cena Experience. In fact, I’d be satisfied if it has some or most of his WrestleMania matches

  9. G. Schire says:

I’ll pass until they make one on Verne Gagne.

    The Authority, G.S.

HOPE THEY DO ONE ON SHEAMUS,BECAUSE IF ANYBODY DESERVES A DVD THIS SOON IT’S THE GREAT WHITE.

  11. tick317 says:

No UK release for these titles? They sound rubbish to be honest anyways lol

  12. MJF says:

I love this idea personally. It reminds me of the coliseum video releases they used to put out all the time. Just pick a random guy, throw some unreleased matches on there and put it out for cheap. I’m definitely picking up the Ryder set. I’d love to see them film some exclusive house show matches like they used to do for coliseum video.

  13. Nathan says:

Can anyone tell me if there going to be released in Australia

  14. RabidHeat says:

It’s a tough one, isn’t it? I think it makes sense though. Only certain people deserve a sprawling 2-hour career bio documentary and match anthology, but frankly I think EVERY roster superstar deserves a 1-disc budget DVD. If it helps make them seem like a bigger deal and a contender, it’s worth it.

When I was a kid, somebody like Repo Man or Crush was exposed in the merchandise almost as much as a main eventer, and members of the roster if they had a gimmick (and weren’t just generic local jobbers) were practically treated like equals in the annuals and sticker albums, etc.

If it’s like the Morrison DVD, it makes sense. I’m thinking that DVD was always supposed to be a tester for this kinda series. Must have done well and they’ve decided to develop the idea into a series.

WOO WOO WOO YOU KNOW IT… BRO

  17. Chris says:

Even in a DVD synopsis the WWE can’t shut up about Twitter! lol

  18. Dan Mader says:

I highly believe that these will be very popular and a success for WWE. The price point of 10 dollars is very interesting and will prove to be beneficial in my opinion, especially due to the first two DVDs being such popular superstars. I am definitely looking forward to these.

  19. Roger Palmer says:

I think these could be popular with the casual viewer and while its early in Ryder’s career, this could be a interesting series if kept simple

  20. SRB says:

I think it’s very possible that since this is part of the “Superstar Collection” Series that we can see discs/sets like this in the future. Since it’s only a single disc I can actually see where WWE is coming from and I find it to be a good opportinity to do this with future guys who are coming up like Kofi, Swagger, Ziggler, Del Rio, and Shaemus. While you certainly could give a 3 disc to guys like Swagger and Kofi (Not saying they would be quality sets, just saying enough footage exists) I actually prefer that if they are going to do anything for the new comers to make them short and sweet.

This new series of sets reminds me of what they did for Morrison’s Rock Star, Lesnar’s Here Comes The Pain and Trish’s 100% Stratisfaction DVDs years back. None of those DVDs were a fail in my opinion and I welcome the idea of a new series in the DVD world. And I’m glad WWE isn’t going overboard and giving people 3 disc sets who don’t deserve it being that HHH, Andre The Giant, Kurt Angle and NWO 3 disc sets do not exist.

    • SRB says:

And while I enjoy the price I do not think they should be released the same day. That makes little to no sense at all. Think about it. 1 disc $10 and another disc $10 = $20 for about 5 hours maybe??? That’s more expensive than a 3 disc set total. I thought we were going to get a price break here

  21. So it’s basically a revamped Best of WWE series?

    • Daniel Bee says:

More than just random matches. It’ll be like Morrison Rock Star.

      • AJ says:

I thought of John Morrison’s DVD right away. He probably didn’t deserve one when he got his DVD. Had some good matches though

        • Mark D says:

I would disagree with the fact the Morrison didn’t deserve a DVD when he got it. He was on the rise and having fantastic matches around the time. Had his ‘push’ been handled correctly he could have been a worthy WWE/World Champion and his DVD could have elevated him in the eyes of the fans. If WWE had used the ECW philosophy of accentuating his positives/hiding his negatives, he could have been made.
