In WWE’s recent “Intent To Purchase” survey of potential WWE DVD buyers (details), the Home Video project on Stone Cold Steve Austin was ranked the highest at 73%.
The fan response to a future Steve Austin DVD was greater than that of every other concept listed, including high profile subjects on The Rock, Triple H, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar. As you probably know by now, WWE will be releasing it later this year on November 29th.
The overwhelming survey response to the Austin project offers some further insight into why WWE changed the schedule and opted to release a DVD solely on him. WWE’s last Stone Cold DVD sold over 164,000 units in the first 26 weeks of release, whilst Austin’s last three movie DVD releases in 2010 (outside of WWE) have sold a combined 400,000 units to date.
As revealed today by Booker T, WWE is going ahead with a King of the Ring themed DVD. This was also included on the same survey and it’s safe to say this project also received significant fan feedback, up against compilations on I Quit, TLC and Money in the Bank matches.

A Money in the bank DVD, Don’t see much point in that to be honest.
