We’ve just updated our WWE DVD Release Dates page with the Home Video release times for the next PPV events of 2020, including this Sunday’s Money in the Bank!

Following the recent trend, it looks like there will be one consistent WWE DVD release per month in the United States; Money in the Bank 2020 is scheduled to hit stores in June, Backlash 2020 in July, Extreme Rules 2020 in August, and SummerSlam 2020 in September.

WrestlingDVDNetwork.com can also exclusively reveal that the free Topps trading cards will continue to be included in the Pay-Per-View DVDs. The plan right now is to have a Bayley card with MITB, a Drew McIntyre card with Backlash, an AJ Styles card with Extreme Rules, and a Kevin Owens card with SummerSlam.

For these new PPVs here are the release dates known so far for the USA and the UK:

Money in the Bank 2020 (DVD)

June 9, 2020 June 29, 2020

Backlash 2020 (DVD)

July 14, 2020 July 27, 2020

Extreme Rules 2020 (DVD)

August 18, 2020 August 31, 2020

SummerSlam 2020 (DVD)

September 22, 2020 October 5, 2020

As you may have noticed, so far this year WWE is sticking to the new direction of PPVs only for their Home Video releases.

We reported a few times that there may be the odd additional non-PPV DVD on top and as things stand we can see tentative plans to release one “premium” title in Q4 2020. What that WWE DVD may be is still unknown currently, and it may wind up as a UK/European exclusive, but we’ll let you know as soon as we get concrete details.

UPDATE 5/8/20: A new, non-PPV DVD will now be released by WWE worldwide as early as August: “Best Main Events of the Decade: 2010-2020”.

I received two extreme rules dvds 2020 from Amazon. There was topps cards in both dvds. My son and friend were very disappointed

  2. Peter says:

no Blu-ray for SummerSlam? Even in UK?

  3. Patrick McNamara says:

I am looking forward to getting WWE WRESTLEMANIA 36 and then WWE Money In the Bank 2020 on DVD in close proximity. Pretty good that’s this Sunday. Love that I have the WWE Network. Like the concept for this year’s money in the bank ladder matches,at WWE corporate headquarters. They’re trying. And I am pleased with that. Looks like a decent show. Hope the Wyatt/STROWMAN fued continues, you got to have STROWMAN like almost destroy Wyatt. Then at WWE Backlash 2020 you can have BRAUN STROWMAN defending the Universal Title against The Fiend Bray Wyatt .

  4. RabidHeat says:

I’m honestly not expecting that “premium” title to be anything but ‘WWE 24: The Best of 2020’. It’s the most logical possibility based on the last two years and that the Network is the only place any new material is coming from.

  5. Robert James Emons says:

    Thanks for the updates!

  6. Mark Marriott says:

Do you have any information on an exclusive UK set of WrestleMania 36 yet?

  7. Matthew G. Miller says:

Thank goodness we will get the next four ppvs on dvd. I’m not expecting great shows on these ppvs but will no matter what add them to my collection.

  8. Andemoine Winrow says:

Nice to have the dates of the next few up-coming d.v.d releases. At least we know what to expect.

  9. “Undertaker’s Last Ride”, yes please, for the premium non-ppv title!

    • DDT says:

I think NXT is the only thing that makes sense for a non-ppv title. they have a show on TV so that would be covering all markets. I would be more interested in the upcoming best of Eric young being realeased by Impact than any of these titles. Also is an excellent best of Will Ospreay title that roh have put out.
