Paul Heyman WWE DVD Incoming? Results of 2013 Wrestling DVD Poll

Jim Ross revealed as part of his recent blog post at JRsBarBQ.com that a WWE DVD is currently in pre-production for the legendary Paul Heyman.

This isn’t the first we have heard of a Paul Heyman DVD. It was listed as one of the concepts on the October 2013 WWE Fan Council survey, and was the winner of our own poll here on the site out of that same list of DVD ideas.

Jim Ross noted that he was invited to be a part of the DVD production (likely for interview footage), and possibly requested by Heyman himself:

“Been asked by WWE to be a part of the upcoming Paul Heyman DVD of which I’m anxious to participate. Once details are worked out we will schedule a time for me to head to WWE HQ and tell a few…dozen Heyman stories.

I’m very honored to have been requested to be a part of this production as it was me who gave Paul his first broadcast gig and taught him the ropes as best that I could . Paul was so high strung and outspoken that many within WCW did not want to work with him but I saw talent in the abrasive albeit highly intelligent Jewish kid from Scarsdale, N.Y.”

This will mark the first time that Jim Ross will be a part of a new WWE production since his “retirement” over the summer. Check out JR’s full blog post here.
