they need to do teh history of the women’s championship the history of the us championship, and the history of the tag team championship to go with the other three championshop they done.
@SRB–i agree but i guess the E wants to sell us all the crap they can 1st like the videos ramped up vol.1,before they were superstars,mcmahon,etc.
i would bet anything that releasing the WCW ppvs or IYH ppvs would sell off the charts.
as far as sting i would say we will get one when he decides to retire from TNA and hopefully they will do the same with kurt angle.
WWE really needs to listen to the fans more, which is why I think these polls are a great idea. The fact is, people want WCW. They want Outsider sets, NWO sets and a real collection about Monday Night Wars. WCW is something that will always sell because of the rivalry, the talent and the pay per view cards. If WWE wants money they should a release a Clash of the Champs set, Halloween Havoc set, Great American Bash set, War Games and a Sting set (TNA.. Yes. I know) As far as sets that would benefit from their own company sets on In Your House, Attitude Era, and the rest of the Survivor Series would all do great.
@Anonomus A complete history of WWE set would be very cool. However lately WWE don’t appear to finish the series they start (Raw Seasons and Survivor Anthology).
I think there were some very cool suggestions for DVD sets and matches you’re all very creative 🙂 and I hope someone from WWE takes note of some of the ideas.
I was quite surprised by the amount of Benoit matches suggested (I myself have not watched one since 2007).
Following your suggestions I’m going to have to checkout ROH Best in the World from the poll it appeared very good, also I would recommend everyone checkout the Memphis Heat documentary as more than likley this will be the only Memphis doc we will ever get (and it was very good!) and don’t forget to checkout the Kayfabe Commentaries releases (they have really redefined the ‘shoot interview’ genre).
@ M.Blier, a great idea for a set, I’ve always thought it’d be really cool if the WWE did a 4 set Anthology (5 DVDs ea.) which focused on the history of the WWE, the first set starting in the 60’s/70’s, then 80’s, 90’s & 00’s. Each set could have a 2hr Doc w/ 4 discs worth of matches.

I hope 2012 will be better than 2011 as far as dvd releases, there was some gems and there was some real stinkers last year. Hope there is some really good dvd’s this year.
In the “Pick one match from the illustrious history of professional wrestling, which is added to a DVD release in 2012. What match would you pick?” topic – why were there so many votes for matches that are already widely available on multiple DVD sets?
Saw some awesome suggestions for DVD Concept You’d Most Like to See, some of my personal favs – excluding the one I wrote in – where; Greateast Moments & Matches from MSG, War Games, Best of Halloween Havoc, Best of Clash of the Champs, Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro 2 & IYH Anthology. The WWE better be paying attention to their WCW library, because it sells extremely well.

i believe an in your house anthology would sell big doing them 5 at a time like the other big 4 anthologies.
probably wont happen since owens widow has them shying away from using his matches now.

i think they should do the greastest 25 matches of the 21st century.
@SRB–i agree but i guess the E wants to sell us all the crap they can 1st like the videos ramped up vol.1,before they were superstars,mcmahon,etc.
i would bet anything that releasing the WCW ppvs or IYH ppvs would sell off the charts.
as far as sting i would say we will get one when he decides to retire from TNA and hopefully they will do the same with kurt angle.
WWE really needs to listen to the fans more, which is why I think these polls are a great idea. The fact is, people want WCW. They want Outsider sets, NWO sets and a real collection about Monday Night Wars. WCW is something that will always sell because of the rivalry, the talent and the pay per view cards. If WWE wants money they should a release a Clash of the Champs set, Halloween Havoc set, Great American Bash set, War Games and a Sting set (TNA.. Yes. I know) As far as sets that would benefit from their own company sets on In Your House, Attitude Era, and the rest of the Survivor Series would all do great.

.then 3 more discs/2 more for blu ray filled with promos and matches
.Uncensored swearing, blood and middle fingers maybe even a TV-MA release?
i wish wwe would take all rare matches from the old wwf coliseum video and put them on dvd,because that’s were the classics are.

@Anonomus A complete history of WWE set would be very cool. However lately WWE don’t appear to finish the series they start (Raw Seasons and Survivor Anthology).
I think there were some very cool suggestions for DVD sets and matches you’re all very creative 🙂 and I hope someone from WWE takes note of some of the ideas.
I was quite surprised by the amount of Benoit matches suggested (I myself have not watched one since 2007).
Following your suggestions I’m going to have to checkout ROH Best in the World from the poll it appeared very good, also I would recommend everyone checkout the Memphis Heat documentary as more than likley this will be the only Memphis doc we will ever get (and it was very good!) and don’t forget to checkout the Kayfabe Commentaries releases (they have really redefined the ‘shoot interview’ genre).

@ M.Blier, a great idea for a set, I’ve always thought it’d be really cool if the WWE did a 4 set Anthology (5 DVDs ea.) which focused on the history of the WWE, the first set starting in the 60’s/70’s, then 80’s, 90’s & 00’s. Each set could have a 2hr Doc w/ 4 discs worth of matches.
