Well as 2011 draws to a close, there have been so many great (and some not so great) wrestling DVDs released this year from all of the major and independent companies.
So during this festive season we here at WWEDVDNews.com have decided to bring you the definitive Wrestling DVD poll.
We hope you can spare a few minutes to vote and give your responses below. Our poll will close on January 2nd, 2012, so don’t delay.
Soon after the closing date we will bring you the full results, so check back through January.
Sorry the 2011 Poll is now closed. Check back for the results soon.
Note: The poll may not display properly on the mobile view of WWEDVDNews, so please access this page via desktop for the best experience.
I proposed a 4 disc set of best of the c shows 1 disc best of heat, disc 2 best of old/new superstars, disc 3 best of velocity/shotgun disc 4 best of wcw saturday night
@patrick–that would make a good idea to do a set with 20 to 25 matches from the ECW shows–they did have some good ones.
ami the only one or should wwe relaese a best of ecw (brand) or best o superstars
favorite match releasd on DVD this year??? Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar 60 Minute Iron Man Match FTW!!!!!! DVD I’m looking froward to in 2012: Best of RAW & Smackdown 2011 DVD BAR NONE!!! DVD I hope to see in the future: Best of SMACKDOWN! Season 1 and 2. And best Compilation DVD: The Ladder Match 2: Crash and Burn!!!
@DX1
I definately hope WWE releases the Best of Monday Night RAW season anthology too. In 2012 I want to see that DVD/blu-ray set and most definately want to see a DVD set on Jerry Lawler and Ted DiBiase.
My favorite match of 2011 has to be the SmackDown! 2011 Money in the bank matchup. Absolutely classic! Loved that match from start to finish. Too bad the RAW money in the bank match made Best PPV Matches of 2011 DVD. I would have preferred the SmackDown contest instead.
Favorite DVD of 2011 was a toss up between Stone Cold and Greatest Rivalries Bret/Shawn. I picked Stone Cold because I believe the DVD AND blu-ray edition of Greatest Rivalries should have included the Montreal Screwjob.
Good poll, however I couldn’t answer any question about my favorite WWE Studios movie (cause I never watched one) and the TNA questions because TNA sucks hairy monkey balls.
I put the best Ladder Match 2 Crash and Burn and the worst OMG 50 Most crazy moments or something like that. I was looking forward to RAW Season’s 3 and 4 but maybe in 2012 they will come.
Import tagged classics for In Your House peeps because when/if they release a best of IYH set it will be edited alot. Music, WWF mentions and WWF logos (For the 1998/99 IYH PPV’s)
Come on WWE please continue with Best of Raw season 3 & 4.
I’m very surprised at the sets they have picked over the years and the possibilities they’ve decided to ignore. To release a KOTR set over an In Your House set makes not much sense to me at all. As far as superstar sets I really can’t believe they went to the trouble to release sets on Ultime Warrior, Billy Graham, and Lita, but we can’t even get a disc of British Bulldog, Rick Rude or Lex Luger. Seems somewhat random to me. At the same time I’m actually surprised such great sets even exist like The Four Horsemen, ECW sets and Bret/HBK.
there should be another Eddie Dvd In 2012!
Best Of WWE In Your House Anthoogy Is what I want in 2012
I want the WWE to release a worst of wrestling set with negative classics like the debut of shocker, the gobleddy gooker, the halloween havoc cage match, the black scorpion ect
Money in the Bank, Best of Nitro, True Story of WrestleMania
on the part where it ask me what match do I want to see releasd on DVD for 2012 I puted Triple H vs Chris Benoit 60 Minute Iron man match but I know that will never happen.
Great poll. Very disappointed there was never a War Games DVD.
I put Best of Raw: Seasons 3 & 4 as my most wanted rumored DVD from 2011, but I’d really love a Jerry Lawler set with a documentary. Would love to see the Ted Dibiase one and the rumored (although not listed) Goldust set.
I would have to say Money in the Bank 2011 Best PPV DVD,Greatest Steel Cages Best Match Compilations and Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart the best documentary
