The WWE DVDs scheduled for October 2017 keep on coming! Following last week’s “1997: Dawn of the Attitude”, they’re set to continue next week with not one, not two, but three new releases:
– “Roman Reigns: Iconic Matches”
– “John Cena: Iconic Matches”
– “Finn Bálor: Iconic Matches”
By popular request from WDN readers, here’s the full content you can expect to find on them!
In case you weren’t aware, these single-disc titles have been released as individual retail DVDs in the UK already (Amazon.co.uk; £4.99!) but have not had that treatment in the United States until now.
Two of them did actually surface (without retail packaging) in the United States as part of the Mattel figure packs, but this appears to be the first chance to get hold of the Finn Bálor DVD. However, as you can see in the above concept art there’s an “Ultimate Fan Pack” with Bálor figure and DVD that’s either just been released or is in the works, so you may have two avenues to get your copy.
Sasha Banks and Bayley also have new “Ultimate Fan Pack” box sets out now so perhaps we’ll see the DVDs from those released individually if next week’s titles perform well in sales for WWE.
“ROMAN REIGNS – ICONIC MATCHES”
For some, “one versus all” sounds like an unwinnable contest, a hellish punishment, or a never-ending nightmare. For Roman Reigns, it’s just another day at the office. Since day one of his arrival in WWE, Roman Reigns has left broken bodies and shattered Superstars lying in wake.
Relive 5 iconic matches from Roman Reigns career and you’ll soon see why Roman Reigns is The Guy, and you will believe that!

Any one buy them in Canada
Can’t find them anywhere
I had the same problem dude, but weird thing is we got the superstars collections 5 years ago now but we dont have the iconic matches ones maybe we arnt alowd to have 3 dvds of wwe released at the same time but sunrise records may have them down the road since they got a deal with fox.
just got back from walmart and i saw roman dvd which i got in 5 dollar bin so far no cena or finn was found at walmart
Once again, I have to shake my head, regarding the WWE non-logic:
One of the reasons that bluray editions of releases are being cancelled is that it appearently is more expensive to produce than DVD’s.
Yet, they put out 3 DVD sets that have a complete runtime of around 135 minutes…which means, they could easily have put these 3 on one set, make individual chapters for each performer,so if you hate Cena or dislike The Big Dog,or am not a fan of The Demon, you just skip that or those ones.
The costs would be then 2 times lower for WWE with the oppurtunity to produce more bluray editions of more seriously releases.
Yeaaah, I know.. a long shot. Cos another side of the coin is, that many fans still refuses to see the Blue light, -lol-
Weren’t these DVDs made as a bonus, when you bought an action figure? I believe that’s why they are so short. I would have liked if they had a runtime of 3 hours. But if they want to do more sets with these wrestlers, then it is not a good idea if they have used all the best matches.
how does that make sense? if you don’t like them, you can still skip them.
the difference being that if people are big fans that might pay for two or even three dvds instead of one.
Finn and Roman’s sets look decent. Cena’s looks skippable
Already bought all of them the shipped today will arrive Monday or Tuesday!
They*
finn gets 3 matches, cena gets 3 matches, THE BIG DOG ROMAN REIGNS GETS 5 MATCHES
Roman Reigns is the new John Cena.
Roman’s SmackDown matches last under 5 mins.
Lol exactly what I was thinking!
3 of the Reigns matches are short. If you add up the match times it comes out to 45 minutes total for Balor, 49 minutes for Cena and 50 minutes for Reigns. Not that much of a difference.
