I got my copy this morning of sseries and it was the last copy at that moment and it is a great copy and now I own something classy on the rumble, wrestlemania,sslamv2 and 30years of survivor series man I feel complete oh I have the in your house set as well I put sseries before the iyh set.

  2. Jammer says:

Knowing that there is 2 hours free on Disc 1 makes me wish they would have at least shown the main event from the first Survivor Series on that disc. Andre vs. Hogan on PPV for a 2nd time is what created the Survivor Series PPV show anyhow!

  3. whut says:

just like people from the US might think about ordering blurays from the UK/Europe it might also be the other way around with dvds. the digipak artwork looks so much better than the plastic cases than the Fremantle releases.

    • Stevie B says:

I’m in the UK but packaging to me is irrelevant. I care only about disc content, barely look at covers etc.

      • whut says:

to me it’s also very dependent on the content. I mean, all of these matches are available elsewhere (either via dvd/bluray releases or the Network), the more current ones even in higher quality.

to me this automatically increases the importance of the overall presentation (unlike a set like the recent “Unreleased” where the content itself is such a big “draw” for me that the artwork becomes an afterthought).

  4. Matthew Smith says:

They could have put another 2 hours of content on disc 1. Why do WWE keep wasting all this disc space? That’s why I get blu-rays if I can. They cram those things full of content.

    • whut says:

      1. I assume because single layer discs are cheaper than double layer discs.
      2. while I also like the bluray format (at least for footage that was broadcast in hd), unfortunately the WWE often didn’t use the full space for those either. that’s why some release had a runtime of 8 1/2 hours while others had up to an hour less (for example, “Attitude Era Vol. 2”).

(if I’m not completely mistaken, usually all of the bluray extras that 2bd sets have could fit on a 3dvd set as well, the WWE just choices not to do it and instead has some of it as “bonus”)

  5. Nicolas Hébert says:

I don’t have the “free gift” inside my copy I received via Amazon.ca this afternoon…

    • SRB says:

Of course not. Same thing when Coliseum Video used to offer “free gifts” just for renting or even purchasing. All of the cardboard cutouts, gym bags, and cups never made an appearance.

    • Fan of Fake Fighting says:

I received that Brock Fathead with my Amazon order there’s a sticker on it that says exclusive to Walmart on the front of the package.

    • Brandon vendetta says:

Dude ID be pissed too. Piss on the top 30 countdown and the matches on this set too for that matter. If I bought this and it didn’t come with that fathead of Brock Id go insane!! I just find it funny that even though it says it comes with all first run copies I bet that it is only for Walmart. I need it on my wall. That’s my selling point. No fathead/ no purchase.

  6. Jeff Copeland says:

this dvd could of been so much better. it just looks okish to me
