In case you haven’t heard (yeah right!) WWE’s Kevin Owens DVD officially released this week.
Both the US and UK Amazon retail sites appear to have faced higher than expected demand for the “Fight Owens Fight: The Kevin Owens Story” DVD; Amazon.com lists it as the “#1 New Release” in their Sports category with stock still not expected to be replenished until next week, the same also applying to the Blu-ray which is the “#1 Best Seller” in Sports and also currently out of stock.
That’s an indication that so far the title has been successful (if not just underestimated by stockists), however there are several online reports that are inflating the success without any real stats.
If you’re still facing difficulty finding the title online look here on WWEShop.com – as of yesterday WWE has now listed their own stock of the Home Video offering on their shop site.
For UK fans Amazon.co.uk right now has copies of both the DVD and Blu-ray versions back in stock.
The new KO DVD will release to Australia in mid August. Unless there are plans for a store exclusive, this one will be a DVD-only title in region without a Blu-ray edition, as you can see here.

The 3-disc compilation will feature 24 of the Hall of Famer’s greatest matches from his original run with WWE between 1999 and 2006, joined by 25 exclusive, newly-filmed interview segments.

Who will come out on top and earn the right to take on Brock Lesnar?! Dean Ambrose defends his WWE Intercontinental Championship against The Miz with the stipulation that if Ambrose is disqualified, he will be stripped on the championship. Meanwhile The Hardy Boyz defend their Tag Team Championships against Sheamus and Cesaro, plus lots more action from RAW Superstars at EXTREME RULES 2017!
SmackDown Live presents Money in the Bank! WWE Champion Jinder Mahal defends his newly won title against the man he took it from, Randy Orton! An opportunity at the WWE Championship hangs in the balance as AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura try to outlast one another in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I think I understand the reasons for WWE rushing to do an Owens doc quite early in his career. There was an ROH DVD entitled “Hell Rising” which sold out instantly and set records for DVD sales for ROH. I think DVD just wanted a piece of that action, and with this sell-out it pretty much proves that people just can’t seem to get enough of this guy on DVD.
And ROH documentary DVD about Kevin Steen. I meant to say.
The leather Wrestlemania set Did not have a signature on it so I retracted my bid. i asked the seller and he said no signature
And now a WWE 24/7 special has been reported for the WWE network, featuring Dixie Carter as a talking head! Hopefully an extended version of that doc will be the next Angle DVD.
With TNA no longer existing, as a name at least, I bet WWE starts mentioning them now in documentaries and stuff.
One can only hope, as it will make the career documentaries more rounded. :). Shame it wasn’t done in time for the Dudleyz / Sting docs.
But the Dudley Boyz documentary did mention TNA and Bubba Ray’s success as a singles star.
Yes, but they were both fleeting mentions.
It’s better than making no mention and ignoring them as if they weren’t ever with that company!
I was at Extreme rules 2017 so it will be cool to have. Not the best PPV by any means but still will be cool to have.
I am happy that the Kevin Owens release has been an instant success. Now maybe WWE will release “Fight, Paul Roma, Fight” in the near future. If an out-of-shape wresting geek like Owens can find success, imagine what a shredded, exciting sports entertainer like Paul Roma has to offer on a dvd/blu-ray release! Let’s get this done, WWE! We have waited long enough!
Meh. Owens got praised by Hogan, Rock, and Austin. I’m sure that matters more to him that what Cheetos inhaling keyboard warriors think of him.
Well The Midnight Jobber is blatantly trying to be funny. It’ll be that same name-changing troll that keeps saying Warrior vs. Shango was a mat classic.
You are right rabidheat, honest opinions are pointless to express here. It only matters what the majority thinks. Most wrestling fans are like sheep and cannot accept it when someone has an opposing view. All that does is get you labeled a troll. That’s why I love reading the articles here but hate posting because unless you think the same as others you will be ridiculed and called a troll. It’s sad that wrestling fans here are so narrow minded and cannot grasp the concept of somebody being a fan of something they are not a fan of.
I’ve always wondered why this site allows people to post under different names.
I stand by my comment. You are demonstrating exactly what I was trying to say. I never even said one way or the other who I liked or disliked, but yet I get a negative reaction for pointing out the hypocrisy that runs rampant here. Whenever somebody has an opposing view they are attacked for not loving the same kind of wrestling as most people here do. All of my brothers and friends have different taste in wrestling. Is it not like that for you in your personal life? Does everybody you know just agree with you and your tastes in wrestling? The odds of that happening to you or anybody else here are like winning the lottery.
Why disrespect another wrestling fan for having their own unique taste in wrestling. For instance I’m not a fan of Paul Roma as the other person said. Maybe he’s lying maybe he’s not but I know one thing for sure is I have no way of knowing, so I’m not gonna just automatically call that person a troll and have no proof at all to speak of. As far as I can tell that person just likes a wrestler I don’t. That doesn’t affect my life whatsoever, so why would it bother and why on earth does it bother you?
Dude, my point was that it wasn’t his “honest” opinion. But you know that, because DMC and The Midnight Jobber are blatantly the same person.
Are we the same person??? Well, iwe may never know…
But we do know that. DMC is all right with me. We need more like him on this site (or more like me if we are indeed the same person…)
RabidHeat, I will fire up the network and check out some Kevin Owens matches. Perhaps I misjudged the guy’s skills. But do youself a favor and watch some Paul Roma matches and see why he was a head of his time. He was a true trail blazer. I truly believe he lit the spark in the 1980s that lit the blaze that we know today as the attitude era.
Again, I’m not taking any sides on the discussion. I just think it’s messed up that it’s OK for the Regulars here to be a fan of any wrestlers they want but when somebody comes along and is a fan of wrestler that the Regulars don’t like, they are instantly hit with the “Mob Mentality” of being called a troll. You guys always try to chase off any new posters to this site. I just want to know why it’s only OK for certain wresting fans to post here while others are admonished.
P.S. Sorry Midnight Jabroni but I wasn’t taking side or anybodys.
The Midnight Jobber totally agrees with DMC. People should be able to post their opinions here with no backlash.
DMC, you are an asset to this site! Need more like you. Anytime you need the assistance of the Midnight Jobber I am ready to be tagged in.
Actually it’s very easy for a site admin to find out who the same person is.
Me too.
Thanks for your support, DMC!
Your friend,
The Midnight Jobber
No, Warrior vs Shango was NOT a mat classic.
A true mat classic? Paul Roma vs. anybody.
Kevin Owens doesn’t have time to worry about what Cheetos inhaling keyboard warriors think of him- He’s too busy hitting the gym.
Paul Roma sucks. You can’t be serious.
Give him Paul Roma a chance! After all, he was a Horseman! Fire up the network and catch any match where he teams up with S.D. Jones- those 2 revolutionized tag team wrestling!
How about that? So much for the people who said “It’s too soon for an Owens release. Nobody will buy it.”
Well it kinda was too soon, but you’re right – doesn’t mean it won’t be a good doc.
Does anyone know what coin is included in the Amazon Canada version of MITB, Extreme Rules. Meaning who is on it? Did I miss that news somewhere? Thanks.
Same here! What happen with The coin collection??
The KO DVD and Blu-Ray is also Sold Out on Amazon Canada!
